I used to imagine 50,000 fans chanting my name as I stepped out on to the hallowed turf of the greatest game in the world. However my dreams were shattered when I went to big school and found out that even though my parents were proud of the fact I was captain of the 4th XI, football was not my gift.

20 years later sat on a tube at rush hour, lost in a world of Churchills, Meerkats and Elephants I dreamed of that atmosphere once again, only this time it wasn’t me...
